Wait I have an idea. How about having the robotics ref games at any time the squads would like to play each other rather than limit it to just Sundays. And if that can't be done, how about we not play fucking games during the Super Bowl you stupid cunts.
edit: Also since Jersey Shore has exploded in popularity, all games should be cancelled on Memorial Day and Labor Day weekends since those are the greatest times to be at the jersey shore.

Sounds like you're talking about a never ending challenge-ladder based league, unless you still limit it to playing a certain squad at any time during the week.
One, set squad, at any point during the week, we could do as long as there's a referee to !refload the gameid while the bots cannot access the db to automatically announce etc. The scheduler itself is not limited to Sundays.
Or we could do that kind of unofficially, to see if anyone even wants to play "official" games during the week. Set the games up on forums, play them, post the gameid, edit the standings.
As for superbowl and most other US only holidays, you know the drill, they do not count as international holidays. I had one mandatory game for superbowl this year, and the other 2 could've been played the week after. Outlaws and The Dark decided to play 2 on superbowl sunday. Go figure.
