Great idea Jenn. Since chaos holds all the merged and other dead SVS zones.. it would be nice to see them back possibly as events or like the successful alpha and DZ weekend pub maps hallu has organized. Perhaps a weekend or 1 day pub map after every Reset - 2 times per month?? Not too much disruption... you could even have a mini-Reset within the event - the winner getting bounty or some other reward back in chaos pub on the switchover! Alpha, DZ, Speed, Jackpot, ASWZ, even the PRO map/settings as pub for a day or weekend would be fun to try.
Having a Short time frame: 1 or 2 days at most, "limits damage" for ppl who hate the settings while allowing others to experience and enjoy new or long forgotten SVS styles. Being well advertised and having a "set schedule" as u mention, Jenn is important too... I would volunteer my time to helping with any DZ or Speed events/maps!
Having set and scheduled EVENTS (as opposed to weekend pub map changes) would be nice too... but possibly need more time/effort. I've always felt having a Zombie event IN the chaos pub map would be huge... players could OPT OUT to having any kills, etc affect their points/standings.
